The massive sum has been revealed in the pre-nuptial agreement signed by the former 'Dawson's Creek' actress and the Hollywood actor. According to the legal document, Katie is entitled to a set figure of $3 million a year and up to $33 million for the total period of time she spends as Mrs Cruise.

           However, if their nuptials last longer than 11 years, California's community property law will entitle the brunette star - who gave birth to Tom's baby daughter, Sri, two months ago - to half of Tom's entire fortune. The new parents are set to tie the knot later this year, and rumours have circulated that Katie is desperate to marry the actor so she would be able to afford to fight him for custody if they ever split. 

            A magazine reported that: "If she walks now, Tom will fight her for custody of Suri and Katie can't outlast him in court. She knows she needs to marry him to get the money to fight him for custody, if it comes to that."

           Tom Cruise is allegedly in talks to sell photos of his baby girl for up to $1 million. The Hollywood star - whose fiancee Katie Holmes gave birth to their daughter, Suri, two weeks ago - is reportedly letting his aides negotiate with picture agencies.

           Whoever buys the first official snaps of the tot would be able to sell them to magazines for the estimated huge sum. A source is quoted in The Sun newspaper as saying: "There is a bidding war." Last week, Tom revealed the joy he felt when his daughter was born was "indescribable".
           
            In an interview with America's '20/20' TV programme, he said: "It was powerful. It was indescribable. What words can you use? It's still something that I'm processing and keep reliving." The 'Mission: Impossible III' star - who already has two adopted children, Isabella, 13, and Connor, 11, from his marriage to ex-wife Nicole Kidman - also insisted the new arrival isn't going to stop him carrying out death-defying stunts in his movies. He said: "I have three beautiful children and I love the adventure of life and filmmaking. You can get struck by lightning just walking out of your house. I'm interested in life. And, I'm very active and I love it."

Katie's parents are refusing to attend her wedding

           Katie Holmes' parents are reportedly refusing to attend her wedding to fiancé Tom Cruise. The 'Top Gun' actor plans to marry the 'Batman Begins' actress, the mother of his daughter Suri, in a Scientology ceremony in late July or early August.
